2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Welles Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

A hint of reductive, yellow-fruity scent with a hint of mustard pickle and a little yellow spice, sesame, pepper, herbal and floral aromas, hints of dark berries and some minerality. Ripe, melting, somewhat warm fruit with delicate buttery-caramel notes, nutty to slightly woody tones and sesame again, persistent on the palate, very fine acidity and some grip of very crumbly tannin, black berry nuances in the background, delicate floral tones, again also yellow spice, a hint of ethereal, reminiscent of sage, very good, melting finish.
