2007 Hallgarten Jungfer Riesling Auslese, Rheingau, Germany

Somewhat developed, nutty, mushroomy and dried herbal scent of partly mellow yellow fruits with slightly ethereal hints and a hint of caramel. Ripe, sweet fruit with a hint of lemon verbena, fine acidity, delicate grip, some persistence, hints of wax, salty-mineral tones, not too deep, good to very good finish with bite and some bitterish yellow spice.
