2019 Süd-Burgenland Ried Weinberg trocken "Alter Weingarten", Burgenland, Austria

Clear, taut and polished aroma of more black than red berries and cherries with slightly peppery, juniper and herbal aromas. Tight, tangy, very fresh fruit with noticeable acidity and fine, youthful tannins, persistent on the palate, certain depth, salty minerality in the background, also herbal tones again, plus some pepper, still undeveloped, very good, tight, tangy finish with bite and herbal aromas as well as a little cocoa.
