Firmly structured, concentrated, dark, distinctly bitter fruit with smoky, roasted, tobacco-like and slightly sooty-ashy notes, present, ripe, fine-grained tannin and acidity, persistent and dense on the palate, with herbs and soy sauce in the background, again clearly pepper, bacon hints and smoked salt, good depth, hinted coal, gains more juice and complexity with air, still quite aloof, very good to long, firm and dense finish with dark fruit and wood spice.
