2018 Süd-Burgenland Ried Weinberg trocken "Alter Weingarten", Burgenland, Austria

Clear, firm nose of black berries and cherries with slightly smoky, herbal and peppery aromas as well as floral hints. Tight, tangy fruit with a certain acidity and quite present, yet fine tannins, delicately bitter-chocolate and smoky in the background, herbal notes, also mineral tones, persistent, somewhat ethereal,. good depth, has polish, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with traction.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
