2014 Eisenberg DAC Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, polished, slightly herbal and peppery aroma of black berries and a little sour cherries with very slightly fleshy tones. Clear, taut, tart-juicy, cool fruit, lively acidity and a fine tannic grip, dried herbs, some juniper and pepper, persistent on the palate, salty-mineral tones, a little smoke and tobacco, certain depth, elegant style, has life, very good, taut, juicy, cool finish with bite. Even more animating than in its youth - and still surprisingly fresh.
