2019 Spätburgunder trocken, Ahr, Germany

Clear, nutty, somewhat herbal and undergrowthy aroma of predominantly red berries and a little cherry with slightly mushroomy and bacony hints as well as nuances reminiscent of lichen. Straightforward, partly preserved fruit with red berry flavours, a hint of dried mushrooms and mint, rather cool style, moderate tannin, quite good persistence, salty and earthy tones in the good to very good finish.
