2009 Spätburgunder Devonschiefer Goldkapsel, Ahr, Germany

Black berries and some red berries on the nose, some braised bell peppers and earthy notes, some dried flowers and light smoky notes. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, more bell peppers, some malted notes, herbaceous notes and a hint og tobacco, fairly mature tannins, delicate acid bite, good persistence, earthy and minerak notes, quite firm, already refreshing, good to very good finish.
