2008 Dernau Hardtberg Frühburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Ahr, Germany

Slightly dissolute nose, ripe red berries, hint of wet laundry, dried herbs, earthy and mineral notes, touch of tobacco. Slightly dissolute again on the palate, soft fruit, prominent vegetal and earthy notes, mature, slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, mineral notes in the background, some old oak, very good finish.
