2005 Spätburgunder Spätlese trocken unplugged, Ahr, Germany

Rather diffuse nose with red berries and mushrooms, vegetal notes. Fairly cool style, quite elegant fruit, partly dried red berries, very slightly astringent tannins, again slightly diffuse, mineral traces, elegant acidity, mushrooms, very moderate oak on a slightly astrignent finish.
