2021 Weißburgunder Landwein "Johann Jakob", Baden, Germany

Nutty, yeasty, mushroomy and finely vegetal aroma with yellow fruity aromas, a little mushroom, a touch of bacon, rosemary and hints of dark berries. Taut, juicy, still reductive fruit with smoky, nutty and herbaceous-vegetable aromas, fine, lively acidity, delicate grip, persistent on the palate, has tension, some depth, still undeveloped, distinct minerality, black berry and herbaceous nuances, rosemary again, but also some marjoram, very good, cool, taut, tangy, somewhat yeasty and distinctly salty finish. Very skilful.
