2017 Spätburgunder Landwein "JJ", Baden, Germany

Somewhat developed, dried-vegetable and -floral, earthy and woody scent with a little muted predominantly red berry notes. Firmly woven, tart fruit, nutty and a little tobacco wood spice, some cocoa in the background, fine sandy, ripe tannin, has power, chalky-salty mineral tones, minty nuances, very slightly drying, noticeable but integrated alcohol, very good, somewhat smoky-woody finish
