Somewhat spicy, nutty and partly preserved nose of predominantly dark berries with a little cherry and nuances reminiscent of cinnamon and paprika powder. Straightforward fruit with spicy and very slightly sooty wood flavours, fine sandy tannin, some persistence, coffee and vegetal flavours in the background, hints of pepper, good to very good, tart-juicy and a little toasty finish.
