2005 Leithaberg Jungfernlese, Burgenland, Austria

Plummy notes and dried berries on the nose, nutty and spicy notes, roasted and smoky notes. Tart berry fruit on the palate, appears lighter than it really is, delicately juicy, but the prominent acidity also makes the wine slightly angular, integrated tannins, has some backbone and structure, slightly herbaceous on an attractive to good finish.
