2018 Syrah trocken "Quarzporphyr", Baden, Germany

Smoky and slightly tobacco aroma of mixed berries with floral aromas, some beetroot, pepper and bacon. Tart fruit with nutty and woody notes, some bite, a little drying, sandy tannin, smoky, earthy and peppery notes, noticeable alcohol, a little salt in the background, also a little drying in the finish.
