2018 Spätburgunder trocken "Roter Porphyr", Baden, Germany

Quite firm, somewhat dried-vegetable, herbal and a hint of tobacco aroma of mixed berries and a little cherry with peppery, floral and also mineral notes and a little rosehip. Tight, quite juicy fruit with smoky and nutty aromas, pepper, herbs and a touch of bacon, some acid bite, chalky and salty tones, persistent, some depth, light toastiness, a little iron, very good, firm finish.
