Tart, firm and deep, fleshy and woody aroma of black berries and cherries with tobacco and slightly minty tones and a hint of juniper. Very firm, tart, restrained fruit, lots of smoky, toasty wood with coffee notes, present, somewhat drying tannin, juniper and lots of pepper, persistent, salt in the background, also bitterish, sooty tones, has plenty of power, but also becomes increasingly juicy with air, also gains in subtlety, multi-layered, very good, firm, compact finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2032+. What our ratings mean
