2017 Ried Point trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm and deep, fine-herbal and slightly ethereal aroma of mixed berries with a hint of cherries and juniper as well as mineral hints. Ripe, juicy, warm fruit with cooling ethereal notes, clear, chocolaty wood spice, coffee notes, crumbly-sandy tannin and some bite, persistent, lots of power and substance, mineral hints and a touch of citrus zest in the background, some depth, very good, ripe-fruity and chocolaty finish with ethereal and mineral notes.
