Firm nose, ripe black berries, toasted oak, some tobacco, mint, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, very juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, fine tannins, light bite, toasted, spicy oak, hint of chocolate, persistent and quite full-bodied, but also has cool mineral as well as minty herbaceous notes, light salty notes in the background, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable high alcohol, very good, juicy, slightly liqourous finish.
