2013 Großhöflein Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, tart nose, some spicy new oak, black berries and a few cherries, very elegant dried floral and spicy notes, herbaceous traces and light mineral notes in the background. Firm, tart dark fruit on the palate, yeasty and earthy notes, nutty oak, youthful, fairly firm fine tannins, concentrated and persistent, mineral notes, hint of tobacco, still largely undeveloped, firm grip and refreshing bite, good depth, delicate ethereal traces, hint of citrus zests, concentrated, but also very elegant style, becomes more juicy with aeration, complex, vibrant, very good long finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
