2008 Scheurebe Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Burgenland, Austria

Gold colour, not totally clear. Spicy oak on the nose, candied nuts, brioche, preserved apricots and pomaceous fruit, herbaceous notes, some candied and dried citrus fruit, light mineral notes in the background. Very concentrated sweet fruit on the palate, tart spicy oak, sugar candy and a hint of honey, some caramel in the background, deep and persistent, firm, still very young, extremely elegant, lively acidity, both firm and creamy on a long finish.
