2008 Blaufränkisch trocken Leithagebirge, Burgenland, Austria

Undeveloped nose, preserved cherries and mixed berries, sweetish spicy oak, hint of chocolate, herbaceous traces in the background. Polished fruit on the palate, more sweetish spicy oak, some lactic notes, fine sandy tannins, very creamy, some more herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, full-bodied and has good persistence, very good finish. Needs time to develop.

Best to drink: 2013-2018+. What our ratings mean
