2007 Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Blackcurrants and some cherries on the nose, slightly tart roasted oak, earthy and mineral notes in the background, light touch of dried herbs. Cool, polished, firm and quite juicy on the palate, straightforward black fruit, fairly prominent, but also fairly fine tannins, still quite young, persistent, polished and has some depth, very harmonious, surprisingly cool relative to the noticeable alcohol, juicy on a very good finish.
