2004 Ried Tatschler trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Initially fairly shy noe with new oak, delicate smoky and spicy notes, hints of yellow fruit and vegetal notes in the background, gains depth and complexity with aeration. Full-bodied and quite compact, shows some life and play, yellow fruit, some physalis and light notes of pumpkin, oak already quite well integrated, mineral backbone, mature, moderate acidity provides polish and bite, long finish.
