2019 Appenheim Riesling trocken "Kalkstein", Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, somewhat herbaceous, slightly smoky-sulphurous and hinted yellow-spicy fragrance with quite noble citrus and stone fruit aromas as well as a hint of bacon, mustard seed and yeasty tones. Ripe, juicy, youthful fruit, lively acidity and some grip, yeasty, floral and slightly bacon aromas, hinted vegetable and mushroom, good persistence, lots of bite, still a bit sulphurous tones, thus a trace of sharpening, very good, tight, sweetish finish
