2018 Appenheim Eselspfad Weißburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, firmly structured, finely vegetal citrus nose with core fruit notes, a hint of herbs, a trace of smoke, artichokes, and nutty undertones. Taut, cool, finely juicy fruit, lively acidity, vegetal and slightly herbal aromas, a bit of grip, persistent on the palate, moderate melt, yeasty nuances, bright minerality, again nuts, has considerable power, but remains relatively cool, a certain freshness, very good, tight, juicy finish.
