2021 Lemberger trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat toasty, nutty, herbal and hints of animal scents of black berries, pepper and a little cherry. Straight, tangy, quite cool, still youthful fruit with a slight acid bite, fine sandy, slightly drying tannin, good persistence, currants and pepper in the background, hints of tobacco. Good to very good, cool, fresh, tart finish.
