2019 Bruchsal Weiherberg Pinot Noir trocken, Baden, Germany

Slightly smoky and toasty aroma of red and black berries with tobacco hints, a touch of bacon, rosemary and a hint of pepper. Tart fruit with fine dusty tannin and some bite, smoky wood notes, a hint of soot, quite clearly salt in thej background, good persistence, dried herbal notes, again reminiscent of rosemary, peppery and juniper nuances, very good, if still slightly drying and bitterish finish.
