The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality of Heitersheim (Markgräflerland area) in the German Baden wine region. The family is already in the fifth generation of winegrowing. After studying oenology in Geisenheim, Klaus-Martin Marget founded a small sparkling wine cellar in 1989 and took over a winery in 1996. The vineyards comprise around seven hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Schlossgarten (Hügelheim) and Maltesergarten (Heitersheim). They are planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Regent and Cabernet Dorsa, as well as the white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gutedel and Nobling. The vineyards are cultivated in a near-natural way with greening by sowing grasses, rape, clover and mallows. Quality enhancing measures are careful foliage care and yield reduction by thinning out

Great importance is attached to physiologically ripe and healthy grapes. After the manual harvest in up to three passes, the grapes are gently pressed. Further processing is carried out as far as possible without mechanical stress. After controlled fermentation, the white wines are mainly matured in steel tanks with long storage on the . Depending on the type of wine, the red wines mature after the traditional maceration in large wooden barrels or in new barriques. The rosé wines are pressed from Pinot Noir. Premium wines include Merlot, the red wine cuvée Veritas and Sauvignon Blanc. Bottled fermented sparkling wine is also produced.
