Deep and firm, slightly fennel-like and a touch yeasty aroma with restrained yellow fruity aromas, hints of herbs, bacon, floral nuances and distinct minerality. Firmly woven, juicy, ripe fruit, lively, ripe acidity and plenty of grip, dense and persistent on the palate, moderate, sweet melting, plenty of umami, tones reminiscent of baked pork rind (much subtler than it might sound), a little red berry, nutty traces and shiitake, distinct minerality, deep, concentrated and multi-layered, long, firm, juicy and grippy, complexly blooming over a long time, emphatic, very mineral finish with herbal aromas, pepper, lemon balm, umami and again also a little dark berries. A completely independent masterpiece that keeps you busy long after the last sip
