2017 Nierstein Hipping Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Enchanting firm, extremely deep, complex nose, still has some yeasty aromas, vegetable oil, delicate nutty and smoky notes, elegant, restrained yellow fruit, dark berries, fairly dark mineral notes, hint of tobacco and herbs. Ripe, very firmly structured, juicy fruit on the palate, elegant vegetal and herbaceous aromas, lively, very elegant acidity, polished tannins, persistent, concentrated and gripping, still extremely young, already indicates its depth and complexity, smoky notes, tremendously vibrant, hint of dark berries and floral traces in the background, absolutely undeveloped, but even so, with some aeration is already tremendously impressive, long, gripping, firm and juicy finish, with more prominent mineral notes, some herbaceous and peppery notes, floral notes and notes of dark berries. There is no better dry Riesling.
