Firm, rather cool, somewhat dried-vegetable to tobacco aroma of red and black berries with a hint of smoke, aromatic ash, grilled meat and dried mushrooms. Clear, polished, fine-juicy fruit, smoky, nutty, moderately woody and again dried-mushroomy tones, crumbly tannin, some bite, persistent on the palate, a trace of coffee in the background, salty minerality, dark ethereal nuances, some depth, hints of liquorice, very good, firm finish.
