2011 Westhofen Brunnenhäuschen Riesling trocken Großes Gewächs, Abts E®, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and deep, still somewhat restless, dried-vegetable, somewhat bready and yeasty and emphatically mineral aroma of ripe, partly candied citrus fruits and stone fruits with tobacco traces. Taut, dense and juicy in the mouth, very dry fruit with dried planty and yeasty spice, lots of grip, ripe tannin and clear, earthy minerality, pithy style, still completely undeveloped, enormous tension, oily nuances, very good to long, again quite grippy finish with lots of tart, demanding minerality and traction.
