2015 Wachau Ried Steinporz Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Restrained nose, light nutty, earthy and vegetal notes, partly dried and candied ripe yellow fruit, hint of caramel and honey. Ripe, partly preserved and candied, nevertheless dry fruit on the palate, vegetal aromas, light yeatsy and nutty notes, some caramel, very elegant acidity, persistent and quite concentrated, slightly rustic style, medium body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, quite creamy, salty mineral notes and a hint of tobacco in the background, some depth, has substance, very good, long, slightly creamy finish.
