2007 Wachau Ried Steinporz Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Quite an elegant and complex nose, partly candied peaches and citrus fruit, light herbaceous notes, delicate honeyed notes, cool mineral notes, delicate hint of dried flowers and some tobacco. Elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, touch of spicy tobacco, prominent mineral notes, firm, lively acidity, persistent, quite firm, good depth, full-bodied and has substance, long finish.

Editor note: Sweetish nose, candied yellow fruit, some caramel and honey. Creamy on the palate, more candied fruit, some light nutty traces and some more caramel, elegant acidity, tobacco and earthy notes, quite a warm style, slightly muted on an attractive to good finish.
