Fest, quite complex, slightly smoky, nutty and finely vegetable nose with core and stone fruit notes, a hint of wild herbs and bay leaf as well as suggested meadow flowers. Polished, juicy, firm fruit with some nutty and delicately tobacco-like wood aromas, a trace of verbena and hinted zucchini, fine acidity, has grip from ripe tannins, dense and persistent on the palate, some depth, in the background nutmeg, chalky minerality, very good, firm finish with bitter plant spice. Still seems completely closed; needs to mature.
