Tart, quite deep, somewhat vegetal aroma of predominantly dark berries and cherries with herbal notes from Provence, lavender and a hint of pepper. Dark, again quite tart, yet polished, juicy fruit, noticeable acid bite and fine sandy, still quite drying tannins, which integrate with plenty of air, again a little pepper and coffee grounds on the palate, bacony nuances, earthy in the background, and salty a touch of juniper, certain warmth, very good, firm finish with cool dark juice, herbal notes and salt. Needs time.
