2017 Würzburg Stein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart, elegant nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominenet mineral notes, light yellow fruit aromas, fennel and a hint of pulses, some bacon. Cool, firm, fairly cool fruit on the palate, fir, elegant and juicy, still has delicate yeasty notes, light vegetal notes, very prominent earthy as well as chalky and salty mineral notes, persistent, good depth, floral traces, has grip and bite, significantly reduced fruit, some melissa, more prominent mineral notes on a very good, firm, tart finish.
