2017 Iphofen Silvaner trocken VDP.Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, tart nose, still slightly yeasty, vegetal and earthy notes, restrained yellow fruit, light floral traces. Clear, fairly juicy, slightly creamy fruit on the palate, vegetal notes and light floral nuances, chalky mineral notes, hint of tobacco and bacon, quite persistent, lively acidity provides some bite, slightly creamy, but also has slightly astringent tannins on a good to very good finish with light vegetal notes.
