2016 Würzburg Pfaffenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Spicy oak on the nose, ripe red and a few black berries, dried vegetal and earthy notes, toasted notes and coffee. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, spicy, lightly toasted oak aromas, some sugar candy and a touch of dark caramel, smoky traces, touch of carbondioxide, fine, youthful tannins, light mineral notes, peppery traces, good to very good, juicy, spicy finish.
