2015 Würzburg Stein Riesling trocken Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, mineral notes, light peppery spicy, citrus and pomaceous fruit, some peaches, yeasty traces, some soup greens, hint of tobacco. Fairly tart, restrained, cool fruit on the palate, becomes increasingly juicy with aeration, lively acidity, noticeable fine tannins, earthy and mineral notes, nutty and yeasty aromas, fairly cool style in spite of the high level of alcohol, still totally undeveloped, prominent bite, clear contours, very good tart finish.
