2015 Rödelsee Küchenmeister Silvaner trocken Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Polished nose, light nutty notes, traces of smoked bacon, earthy and mineral notes, restrained pomaceous fruit, hint of tobacco, peppery traces. Firm, tart, juicy, restrained fruit on the palate, surprisingly cool considering the high level of alcohol, vegetal as well as salty mineral notes, fairly prominent acidity, light tannic touch, fresh vegetal aromas, good persistence and grip, yeasty traces, still largely undeveloped, good to very good finish.
