2014 Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Prominent green vegetal notes on the nose, broccoli and bell peppers, some green asparagus, stinging nettles and bay leaf, restrained yellow and green fruit, peppery and smoky traces, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, dry fruit on the palate, more prominent vegetal notes, light smoky oak, candied nuts, lively acidity, tannins still slightly sandy, persistent, very slightly sweetish and creamy, peppery and mineral notes in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, some grip, slightly lemony acidity on a very good finish.
