2018 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder trocken "J", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm aroma of ripe more black than red berries with dried floral and herbal aromas, some smoke, dark wood spice and a hint of pomegranate, bay leaf and citrus aromas. Ripe, quite dark, tart-juicy fruit with toasty wood flavours, dark chocolate and some coffee, dried-vegetable notes in the background, slightly earthy and salty, very good finish with slightly preserved fruit and noticeable, slightly brittle wood.
