2017 trocken "Walters Spätburgunder", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat developed, slightly smoky, nutty and woody aroma of more red than black berries with dried floral aromas and a hint of juniper. Tart, slightly nutty fruit, dried-floral aromas and a hint of malt, certain barrel tones, good persistence, nutty aromas, salt in the background, crumbly-sandy tannins, a hint of mushrooms, spicy traces, hints of ethereal, good to very good finish.
