2013 Bürgstadt Hundsrück Spätburgunder trocken "J", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly polished nose, light spicy oak, hint of tobacco, ripe red and a few black berries, ethereal aromas, some dried flowers, hint of cocoa and licorice. Clear, ripe, fairly tart fruit on the palate, fine sandy, generally well integrated tannins, nutty, spicy oak, hint of tobacco, some cocoa, earthy and salty mineral notes, very elegant acidity, some bite and grip, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool elements, still young, not particularly deep, minty notes, very good tart finish with elegant juicy notes.
