2013 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder trocken "J", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Spicy toasted oak still fairly prominent on the nose, tobacco notes, partly dried red berries, light herbaceous, floral and ethereal traces, touch of black berries, licorice, vegetables, earthy and mineral traces. Clear, tart, fairly dark fruit on the palate, more prominent spicy, toasted oak, hint of coffee and tobacco, fairly youthful fine sandy tannins, fairly persistent, full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, earthy and salty mineral notes, still slightly rough and astringent on a good to very good finish.
