2017 Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart, firm, vegetal and somewhat earthy aroma with restrained yellow fruity aromas, pepper, a hint of smoke as well as mushroomy and tobacco nuances. Ripe, warm, melting, yet dry fruit, very fine acidity and some grip of crumbly tannin, herbal-vegetal aromas, slightly nutty and peppery on the palate, a hint of butter, clear minerality in the background, red berry nuances, hints of smoke, very good, juicy and spicy finish with almost sweet melting and ethereal traces.
