2006 Thermenregion Zweigelt trocken Selektion, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly mature nose, partly dried red berries, herbaceous notes, chocolate, undergrowth, roasted spicy oak. More roasted notes and chocolate on the palate, presistent marinated and preserved berry fruit and some cherries, herbaceous and mineral notes, also some undergrowth, quite full-bodied, noticeable, but well-integrated alcohol, integrated tannins, shows its origins, still quite youthful, and has potential, good finish.
