2006 Thermenregion Merlot trocken Reserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly muted nose, red berries, light herbaceous notes, light lactic and volatile notes. Cool on the palate, straightforward and fairly light-bodied, preserved berry fruit, some undergrowth and bitter herbs, light oak, integrated, slightly dusty tannins, medium body, not particularly deep, slightly astringent on an attractive to good finish.
